Last minute Aglio Olio

this was really really a very random lunch. was stuck at home for the past few days, no mood to do anything, can't be bothered to cook or even eat sometimes and really nothing much left in the fridge. i was craving for something fast and easy but really good and damn this is really really good and totally hit the spot.

it took me only 10 mins and a wee bit of kitchen therapy. i didn't need any salt or pepper because it's so damn flavorful and really need nothing else but just a television and a couch. someday i'll definitely do a prawn version of this.

My Some kind of Bacon Aglio Olio

-boil about 120g of long pasta (i use linguine) in well salted water

-before draining, reserve bout 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water.

-in a frying pan, heat up some olive oil in medium heat and snip in 2 rashes of bacon with a scissors. let bacon brown up and release those bacony juices to the oil.

-while waiting for bacon to brown slice about 3 cloves of garlic and 2 bird's eye chili. the chili have to be seeded.

-once the bacon have browned up, throw in the garlic and chili and fry till garlic is soften but not brown. add in the drained pasta and toss through evenly. add in the pasta water bit by bit. it moist up the pasta and some sort of sauce for it.

-sprinkle with some parsley and grate some parmesan over. then tuck in with gusto!
